January 12, 2010 (twenty-ten!)

So, THIS is my year! I believe that there are no coincidences. I was born October
10, 1970. And I will be 40 on 10-10-10! WOW! I can’t wait! This is 2010, so it’s just
a bunch of 10’s which usually means GREAT! 2009 was amazing, but I am sure that
this will be even better. Ellis just finished his first semester in Longy school of
music, and he had a great time meeting new people, learning more about music,
cooking a lot, perfecting his Nan, and learning how to live away from friends and
family. Thanh did some student teaching and has been busy with school and
playing at San Mateo and at Christ Church Cathedral (CCC). Alex and Thi and
Alissa and Laurita are in Manor, TX and doing fantastic! Papi and Mami continue to
work hard in San Mateo. Papi is FINALLY writing a book! YAY! I am doing well,
working at Mata with my wonderful teaching partner and at CCC. I sing at
different events once in a while and will be starting my Master’s program in
bilingual education tomorrow – 1/13/10! I am thrilled and a little scared because of
that! Well, again, THIS is my year! I’m not sure what it will bring – but I’m sure it
will be good things – blessings and laughter and lots of love!
